film noir - prop's used

we chose certain props so that it would fit in with the time period and make our film noir look realistic and professional. some of the props were actually used such as the type writer to show the title 'Candi' at the end of the opening. newspaper clippings were used to show the past which had occured to him. there were three newspapers:
1. detective extroadinaire caught covering up killings - used to show that he has turned against the public.
2. mobster roundup continues: over 60 arrests made - shows the detective at his prime
3. bekowski family behind new york crime ring - shows that the detective has stitched up the gang he was invloved with and is now hated by them.

The next item is the type writer.
