film noir - story synopsis

An ex-detective named Cole Kelso used to be a top reporter in New York, known for arresting and locking up large quantities of gang members. he was seen the the public eye as a hero. A type of person who they tell there kids what to be when they grow older. you could say he was a role model. not only this but police followed all his leads, getting the evidence only from him. he would always be first. revealing the truth, finding that vital evidence to lock someone up. instead of months or years to solve the crime it only took a matter of weeks. every front cover contained him. mostly known for his latest newspaper article catching a mass of 60 gang members for a series of murders.But this all changed when he met a married women named Candi 'later to be found to be married to a New York mobster, John Bekowksi.
This john Bekowski was known for his trade in drug importation and a suspicion of carrying out jobs such as murder. you could say he was a scary man protected by the whole family and friends. he began becoming strong friends with this women 'Candi' trying to get a chance out of her. this led to jobs having to be done for the gang in a chance to get closer to her. Before you know it, he was covering up killings and framing others for the deeds. This didn't go down well when the NYPD see what he is doing and is stripped from his rank and left running from the police. from a once heroic, role model to a no body he decided to try and get the public back on his side. how? he wanted to frame the once gang he tried to join all because of a women. when trying to frame the gang by sending evidence to the police was caught red handed. now not only wanted by the police but by the gang he is left to die away in side. he knew Candi was out of reach so resulted in drowning his sorrows with alcohol and drugs.
we follow the story of the aftermath of him drowning his sorrows. it begins in a scruffy old office in the backstreets of New York were he sits at his type writer thinking about Candi while drinking and smoking. after all of this sorrow describing his past throughout he is intruded by a bang at the door. Cole Kelso is out of shot and a second bang goes off. you do not know what has happened leaving a sense of enigma code. who has died or what has happened? this is all because of this women called Candi and you will not know who that women is as the name is left discrete.
