To begin with we wanted an office to be the focus of our film. we thought of a variety of areas we could film from a class room at school to a real office. however, we believed that filming in these locations would be very hard because as the school is an area to learn, it is very hard to find a room that is free. also with a classroom we would have to totally change what is in the room as cables would show that it is not a noir film as they didn't have the technology in that time period. also the types of posters on the room and furniture would give away the time period. not only this but a real office would be hard to work in as we wouldn't be allowed to unplug computers etc as it would disrupt workers and slowing down a business.
this took us time to think about until we have got a chance at filming at William Hewitt's dad's house. he has explained that he has a large office with a big oak table. if this is possible to film in then we would be able to change what we want in the room as it would be in our use. with the wooden table this would mean that we don't have to source it.
