preliminary task

prelininary task - our idea

as you can see this is a story mind map i created with William Hewitt going over some ideas and expanding them. We decided that our best plot we believe would be a person who talks to a women about how he ruined someones life. it then reveals at the end that the person who he is talking to is the one he killed. i think we can pull this off if we use the correct camera shots to show the emotions fo the characters so that it sends a message to the audience. we also came up with other ideas such as best friends talking and one comes out with a secret of how he rapped someone and the friend doesnt know what to do, say something or keep the secret. however this was thought of as to explicit as we wanted to contain flash backs of it occuring. we thought of a variety of rooms from police interview room to classroom.

this is the step by step stages in our production which we hope to take. in this step to step stages it show that the character who is actually dead will not be shown until the end which is the enigma code making people thinking 'what did he do'? and 'who too'.

From this you can see that most of our ideas had a huge twist within the task. we thought of this as it would cause shock to the audience and would involve the viewers to think about were we are heading giving hints away. this would lead to emotion so that the story wouldn't be forgotten and would have a meaning.

As you our main idea which we have expanded is about a boy who acts nerves all the time. He then enters a room were he is interrupted by a girl sitting at the back of the class room. he has a conversation with her about how he feels about what he did giving nothing away until the end. flash backs occur of how he killed a masked person at a party which reveals to be the girl he is talking to in the room.
